Angelie Perez is our resident paralegal. It has been her life-long dream to become an attorney, so after graduating from Saint Catherine’s Academy, she decided to pursue an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies at Wesley Junior College which brings her closer to achieving her life’s dream.
She joined Elrington and Company in August 2021.
Here, in her capacity as a Paralegal she provides detailed support to our resident attorneys as well as our clients.

Orson J Elrington, BSc(Hons) LLB (Hons) CLE
Orson J Elrington is an Attorney-at Law, Notary Public and the Managing partner at Elrington and Company LLP. He was admitted to practice in Belize in 2016 and is an experienced practitioner in all areas of law with focuses on Real Estate, Corporate, Litigation, Trade Law, Immigration, Employment, Criminal and Family Law.
He has served as Belize’s National Security Legal Advisor, Chair of the Social Security Tribunal, and Legal Counsel for the International Financial Services Commission.
He is a former Senator and currently serves in the Shadow cabinet for Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition.
Beyond the legal profession he is an influential, young businessman who currently is a board member of the Belize Coalition of Service Providers as well as serving as its first chair. His reach extends beyond law, politics and business; evidenced by his fierce advocacy for the disadvantage. He gives tirelessly to community organizations and has even served as the Chairman of Belize’s Youth Hostel.
